MORTA GRIGALIŪNAITÄ– — PIANO
Described by critics as 'powerful and dramatic', and with performances broadcast live in 40 countries through the classical music channel Mezzo and features of BBC Radio 3, Lithuanian pianist Morta GrigaliÅ«naitÄ— presents a lunchtime recital including Schumann’s fascinating Davidsbündlertänze, a set of eighteen pieces for piano composed in 1837.

The title, which literally translates as 'Dances of the League of David', refers to an imaginary society of artists created by Schumann whose members represent different aspects of his personality.
